We are proceeding with the First Quarter Co-op Marketing Campaign and invite you to participate in the program.
We have received interest from across the state and as of today commitments from Tacoma Regional Convention and Visitor Bureau, Olympia-Lacey-Tumwater Visitor and Convention Bureau, and Crystal Mt. Hotels. We anticipate four more partners signing on today.
Below are the details of the program:
The objective of the co-op campaign is to drive consumers to the Washington State Facebook page and www.experiencewa.com website to learn more about packages and deals provided by DMO’s and their partners. WTA will also be collecting email addresses for future e-marketing efforts.
WTA is providing the funding to create and implement the marketing co-op opportunity and relying on investment and participation from you to extend the reach, frequency and length of the program.
We have developed three levels of participation in the co-op marketing campaign.
The Three Levels of Participation are:
1. Premier package listing, $8,000 per spot
Premier partners will be featured in the Co-op advertisement promoting Washington, the state and their deal. This listing will offer the highest degree of visibility on the Facebook tab. Premier packages will be listed first and include a large photo as well as the full experience description and a hyperlink to the partners deal section.
2. Choice package listing, $4,500 per spot
These packages will be listed below the Premier packages and will highlight experiences with a smaller photo and limited copy and a hyperlink to the partners deal section.
3. Logo inclusion package, $1,500 per logo
This listing will be a column of supporting organization logos in a sidebar on the Facebook tab. The logos will be hyperlinked to the specific organization¹s promotion section.
The Co-op campaign will last for the first quarter of 2012. The pricing is for the length of the campaign. Your logo will be linked to your website.
This Co-op marketing program is the first phase of creating partnership opportunities to promote Washington state as a travel destination under the leadership of WTA and financial investment of partners.
